Cap: Do I get it to match or not?

    2021 Cement Tundra TRD Off-Road
I'm getting my 2021 Tundra TRD off road end of October. It is the crewmax in Cement.

Now do I get my cap paint Cement or Onyx Black? (The emblems are all black on the truck)

If anyone has pictures of their truck with a cap, matching and not, can you share it? I would love to see what they look like!

It is going to be used as a dog adventure truck mostly. I hike everyday with my 3 dogs and usually have my sister and her 3 dogs as well. I'm having a bedrug liner put in the back. Any other suggestions to make the bed more pup friendly would be gladly appreciated!

(Not my photo but this is the colour I'm getting)

Personally, I'd go Cement. It's a nice color, and any black windows on the cap will have a nice contrast.

The right contrasting color can be nice but I'd go with color matched if it's mine . . .

I say go black, it’s faster, and it will be a nice contrast, not an overloaded grey brick going down the road.
I have a phantom pearl grey truck with a millennium silver cap, I like the color difference. 3F16F219-0BB3-40DD-B9D1-02D7A3A3DB9B.jpg8B760C62-39D0-4F30-9E42-83399BCE7C31.jpg

Easier to sell when you don't want it any more and won't make your truck look like a big grey box.

I like my color matched. I would just make sure whichever topper you get is in line with your needs and long term build plan. Lots of options and configurations to make your truck more functional. They are pricey so buy once cry once and get exactly what you want. Go fast camper style, bed rack, cover, basic shell, or all out sportsman with windoors bed rug, flip up front glass, roof rack, awning, and power lock rear! Goodluck!

If you want to spend $2000 and make people think you only spent $200, get it in a color that doesnt match.

I'd match the color if it were my truck, but cement gray is probably one of the few colors you could get away with a black cap and still look pretty darn good.

EDIT: I'm working on getting a new Leer XR100 cap for my 2016 right now and thinking about carrying a dog back there in the future. Searching on this site, I see where having a front removable cap window can be a good feature and then sealing between the truck cab and the cap so the heat and A/C can flow through...although I'm not sure how well the A/C will cool the bed area on hot summer days in South Carolina. Therefore, I ordered windoors with vent screens to let air flow through if and when needed. The windoors are a little extra cost, but I can certainly see a lot of benefits for being able to open the cap sides for quick/easy access.

Yes, on top of the canopy. Strong and versatile - well worth the $$.

Edit - if you zoom in you will also see a Weboost antenna mounted on the side of the Prinsu but folded down.
