Can't shift to drive

    Hi everyone, please help same issue here
    Truck starts just fine but can't shift to drive , all dashboard lights are off no power at all , I did tried multiple times turn off and on engine and fix the problem and once I parked it goes back to the same problem, any idea what it could be

    Thank you everyone (by the way I'm new to this forum)
    I have a 2018 tundra sr5 60k miles

    Could be a lot of things, but sounds electrical in nature. Start with the battery, make sure you have it tested, regardless of age. Then check the battery cables and all ground locations. Those are my suspicion. The neutral safety switch would keep you from being able to shift from park, but does not explain any of the other symptoms, so I'm not big on that being the fix.

    Look for rodent droppings under the hood. Specifically locate the main wiring harness, I think located on the Driver Side, and follow it to where it enters the firewall. Is there any damage? I've had rats chew up two of my main harnesses and the truck had similarly weird issues (although not the same as yours).

    I second the battery. Take it out and get a load test done.
