I wanted to replace the original parking brake cables on my 2004 SR5 DC.
There are two cables. One is towards the front half of the vehicle Part#4641034140 and the other towards the rear and across the differential Part#464200C051.
The cable that goes towards the rear is discontinued and I can't find it anywhere.
I thought maybe I'd get lucky and someone from this site knows where PN 464200C051 can be found.
    Thanks!

I saw Toyota Parts Overstock is showing it available but all other Toyota dealers show it as discontinued. I contacted one dealer who was offering the BF25% discount and they confirmed the part is discontinued. I expect that Overstock won't be able to get this part but it won't hurt if I call them tomorrow. If they happen to have one in stock I could get lucky. I think it's going to boil down to finding a parts department that actually has one in stock.

I would do your part lookup through Amayama, and try ordering out of Japan.

    Start here: https://www.amayama.com/en/catalogs/toyota?_s=h

    Option 1:
    • Click the "Make inquiry" button at the top of the page to ask if they can get the part.
    • Shortcut to that page: https://www.amayama.com/en/inquiry
    • I don't recommend this; sometimes their part numbers are slightly different, so they may not recognize it
    • If you go this route, I recommend pulling the part number via "Option 2" below, check for THAT part number in the US Toyota Parts site, and if not available, order from Japan.
    Option 2:
    • Plug your VIN into the VIN/Frame number search box and click FIND
    • Use the find feature in your browser (CTRL+F or Commanf+F) to search the page for the word "brake" in the image tiles; you're looking for "Parking brake" (more text after this pic)

    • Hover your cursor over the number of the part you need in the exploded diagram, and it will highlight the part number and info on the right, or you can just click on the part to go to the part info page (again, more text after the pic)

    • Use the 'add to cart' function to compile your list.
    • Continue adding parts, then checkout.
    • Part cost will be low; shipping will be higher, but often you can get parts at half the domestic price at the end of the day; delivery is 2-6 weeks, international.

Thanks for the link Shifty but it's not going to workout for me...
464200C050 superseded by 464200C051 are not available.

It looks like Dorman is currently making an interchange part for the '04-'05. THIS IS IT @ RockAuto

Installed the Raybestos BC96166 from Rock Auto 2 weeks ago on my 05 DC, no issues (minus a sheared bolt).

Thanks Hank. Is that's part number for the front cable? If it is, I'll look up Raybestos's PN for the rear cable.

That was the rear #. The front is easy to find however.
