My 2004 RCLB SR5 has the factory fog lights in the front plastic and I have never been able to turn them on because I can't find the switch. The manual says there is a band on the light switch that you twist, but mine has no such band. I have no record of the light switch assembly ever being replaced, but I guess it's possible someone put the wrong switch on it. Where is the stock fog lamp switch on your 2004?
Also, looking at the lights from the front, both of mine appear to have an inch of water in both of them. Is this a common problem?

On my truck (a 2001) it’s the left-most black circular switch.

Water intrusion is not a common problem if it's the round fogs. I can't remember any of the trucks I looked at having that much buildup. Possibly they're aftermarket garbage.

I've found that the turn signals are much more prone to filling up with water than the fog lights.

I grabbed a fog light switch stalk for cheap and swapped out my original stalk that didn't have the fog switch. I kept my original in case. The new one was cheap and has worked great. The only other thing I had to do was install the fog relay in the back of the fuse panel under the driver side dash. That was fun. Had to twist and mangle my hand to get it in there. Lol

Thanks for the reply. My 2004 SR5 does not have that. I just checked my 2006 (base model) and it doesn't have that band either.
So I'm thinking the switch must have been replaced.
    Thanks to all who replied.

My 05 SR5 didn't have the band on the stalk either but did have the fog plugs zipped out of the way behind the bumper and I used the relay from my trailer fuse box under the hood. The wiring was in place but I needed the stalk and relay.
