So... I have a 2018 Tundra SR5 with a stock radio. I also have a work phone as well as my personal cell phone. Is it possible to pair both cell phones to the radio so I can answer whichever one is ringing?

I mean, I know that headsets and speaker units can pair with multiple phones at once... so I'd think that with what this truck cost, it'd be at LEAST as capable as a $40 bluetooth speaker? (or am I dreaming...)

You have to do anything special to get them to both be capable of being answered without having to select one or the other?

Not with my Tundra. When either my phone or my wife's phone rings, it will work. System will usually pick the first phone that is in the truck when using it for bluetooth radio. You may have to select one of your phones to listen to music when you get into the car with multiple phones.

And per Toyota, the official answer is: NO.

Apparently I have a base model radio and the cheap bastards didn't bother to include the basic Bluetooth functionality of a $40 speaker into the thousand dollar head unit.

    I $uppose my next option i$ to $ee about a replacement.

You could probably find a the next level OE head unit fairly cheap on the forum.

Pretty much all Bluetooth devices work that way, where you can pair multiple devices but only have one active and connected at a time. I’ve never seen a vehicle Bluetooth setup where you could have dual active devices for hands free calls. Not saying it doesn’t exist, just that it’s not the norm.
