can someone test their tail gate for me (those that have oem power lock)

    if you can arm your truck from fob.
    then unlock tail gate with the actual key and open it and let me know if it triggers alarm to sound the horn or not.

    I am trying to see if oem system monitors tail gate or not.

    Mine does not set off the alarm when unlocking and opening the tailgate using the key. Some time ago I noticed unlocking the truck with the fob and opening the tailgate the truck will lock up in the set time.

    Mine does the same thing.not monitored by the oem alarm so its just like a manual trunk lol.
