Can I use the factory harness?

2007 Double Cab 5.7

I just bought an aftermarket backup camera for my '07 SR5. I'll be running it through a JVC head unit. I assume (dangerous I know), that the factory included a video wire for higher end models equipped with cameras.
Can I simply splice my video camera output to the factory wire and avoid running another wire under the truck?

If your truck wasn't equipped with a factory camera, look on the end of the frame on the passenger side for a square, grey plug. That's the plug that the factory camera plugs into. If that plug isn't there then you'll have to run an a/v wire to the front.
