    current set up.

2013 tundra, bilstein 6112s (top setting), SPC UCAs, body mount chop done. 18x9 methods +18 offset, 35x12.5.18 nitto trail grapplers. happy with no rubbing at all.

finally got my hands on rock warrior wheels.

I think they are +50 offset

I have the urge to try 37s. would they fit? dont want rubbing. not talking re-gearing at this time either. I would love 5.29s at some point.

stick with 35s? is there a size above 35s but below 37s?

You’ll need spacers if you want to run the RW wheels. Reason being is those offset will pull the wheel too far into the wheel well causing a lot of rubbing issues. So for wheel spacers, I’d recommend Spidertrax or Bora. And yes, they’re perfectly safe to use as long as you torque them and retorque them correctly.

If you’ve got the 18x9 with 18 offset, then I’d probably just look for a set of 37s in r18 rather than deal with the headache of going with 50 offset with wheel spacers to try to fit 37s in r17. Like I said, you can, but it’ll require spacers.

There are skinny 37s which would come in 37x11.5. There are bigger and smaller 37s. IE: the KM3 is probably the smallest 37 of the pack. The Toyo/General/Cooper runs closer to a true 37” tire.

After deciding whether or not you want to make the jump, you’ll have to also think about doing an aggressive BMC, pinch weld mod, and potential corner cap trimming (if you aren’t already running an aftermarket front bumper).

Another thing you’ll also have to think about is also your alignment which your current SPC UCA will offer a lot of adjustability.

As mentioned. You’ll need spacers to run those wheels with a 37. This puts the wheel back at a lower offset and back into the same scrub radius. If you have an inch of clearance now. Give it a shot. But I’m leaning heavily towards no way.

I’m wondering if a 35” tire would fit your application on the 17” RW wheel without rubbing. I’m thinking about going this direction on my next set of tires.

You’ll be rubbing, although it’ll only require slight modification (pushing bumper forward, removal of mud guards/flaps).

I have removed all the front splash guards and I have heated up the inner fender liner and shaped it as far away as possible. I also installed 1/2” bumper spacers and have done the pinch weld as well as a BMC.

Icon 2.5s all around with stock UCA and front bumper.

The only way to find out if you’ll rub anything else is to just mount the tires. You’ll have to just take your truck to an area where you can fully articulate your suspension and adjust accordingly from there.

tons of good info guys, thank you. I consider myself a pretty smart guy but seeing how different offset affects things escapes me.

So, I am really set on running the RW wheels, they have been a long time coming and i finally found a set and they are getting powder coated gold as we speak. with that being said I think Im gonna stick with 35s on the RW wheels.

I do have a high clearance front bumper as well, Do you still think I will rub? UCAs? sway bar?

Im not against running spacers but would like to keep it as small as possible
