Can I swap the black inserts that sit right above the armrest on the interior door panels for a different light grey insert? I would swap the black inserts from the Tundra with light grey inserts from a Sequoia. Anybody have any knowledge or speculation on this and possibly instructions? Thanks in advance! 2007_toyota_tundra-pic-1824063666972956929-1024x768.jpg 2007_toyota_tundra-pic-5008723218171654624-1024x768.jpg 2016_toyota_sequoia-pic-9012867426574794168-1024x768.jpg 2016_toyota_sequoia-pic-1550727496233497878-1024x768.jpg

I have pulled door panels several times when I had my 2013 and I don't think they come apart. It would be a hack job if they did.

I agree, last time I had my door panels off they looked to be plastic welded on.

I thought of the same thing because I wanted to black out my interior

That's correct, the middle inserts are plastic welded on the back side.

The black parts are plastic welded on, but the grey armrest can be removed with a T25 star bit (about 8 screws). That being said, you can always take the panel to a professional shop and they can work magic with anything.
