Hey Y’all, I haven’t found a specific thread on this so I’m gonna ask… I’ve got a 2014 double cab, and looking for a high rise camper shell. I’ll be living out of the back of it for a while and not rich enough to buy a pop-up topper just yet…

I noticed there’s no high rise shells sold after 2013, but plenty of them before. I know the tailgate is a different thickness and gets in the way of the cap, but I was curious if anyone knows of any modifications that could be done to retrofit the gen 2 cap to fit a gen 2.5 tundra? Maybe taking out the seal of the door and adding a custom shaped piece? Any ideas? Thank you!
