Looking to get a Tune M1 camper topper, weight would be around 600 pounds that will be sitting on the bedrails, another 250-350 pounds in gear plus 2 adults. I'm running aftermarket airbags so I'm not too concerned with it squatting. More concerned with the bed spreading under the weight, wouldn't be doing any off roading with it except for simple fire roads if that. Anyone using anything like this?

Had this setup all winter with no issues, im running Timbren SES which helped the sag but more importantly the braking power and comfort. Campers around 1200#'s. Getting 12 mpg with 35" tires aswell. Driving in Tow/Haul mode helps the drivability in the mountains.

I'm guessing you'd want to install bed stiffeners.

Thats a lot on the bed rails. My Topo Rincon comes in closer to 450#. And thats a lot.

You’ll need new leaf springs and bed stiffeners, thats about it. The Tune is unnecessarily heavy lol. New shocks will help control the sway.
