I recently was at my dealership for the 15k service and had a conversation with the manager about tundras. He has one and helped me out with the rear differential seal. He wrote it up and the seal was replaced. During our discussion I brought up the cam tower leak. His opinion was that it's not something that he likes to repair. Too much time to repair and it has too be more than a little bit oil. I even inquired if he would do both sides of the engine if he had to done and he laughed. To end the conversation, he mentioned that he does repair four or five engines a year.
