Today I turned off my fan to light a cigar. After lighting the cigar I turned the fan back on full blast and no real air comes out. There is a little but I think that is just the outside air coming through the vents. The fan does not come on any of the settings.

I see there is a relay in the main fuse box under the hood but could not find a fuse doing online research.

What is the mostly likely culprit keeping my fan from blowing? The air conditioner was still cold what air was coming out so I dont think it is anything to do with the air conditioner. It is 93 degrees today so I need to figure this out. This is the first time I have had any trouble with the fan with 155000 miles.

Once I have had an electrical problem when I turned the bright lights off and the instrument panel all went to zero and the cruise control went off. In a second or so the instrument cluster all went back to normal. I just turned on the cruse control and later found a code about an electrical fault and cleared the code and it did not come back.

My Tundra is a 2010 4.6L v8 4 door cab with only a front air conditioner with dual climate control. I think my model is a base model.

I think I figured it out. Went through electrical and found no problems. I took out the cabin air filter, it was dirty, and reached inside and spin the fan motor and it came on. Turned off the fan control knob and then back on no fan and I reached back inside and spin the fan and it started spinning. Likely a weak motor or possibly the fan resister. I will replace both. I have 155000 miles so I got my money's worth. Looks like I need to remove the glove box assembly to get to the fan. Hopefully it wont be too bad. Of course it fails as it starts to get hot in Texas. About 93 today.

It’s easy to access the fan the glove box door comes off there will be 3 fasteners( 10 mm head) remove those and disconnect the cable. There are YouTube videos on the job if you have problems
