Long time Jeep owner who got sick of all the issues with the new hybrid system they stuck us with. Got to say a semi-sad goodbye today to my 2021 Rubicon 4xe and purchased a non-hybrid 2023 Tundra Platinum. No TRD package, but just ordered the module to add some of the off-road functionality per a thread I found. On the phone with Westcott Designs now pricing out the TRD 3" lift.

    Welcome. Very nice truck!!

I've heard those hybrid Jeep systems can be sporty.

One of my best friends has the 4cylinder turbo in his JLU and it has been pretty good.

I had 2 Wranglers and a Gladiator all within 3 years. My biggest gripe was if you have an issue, either the dealer didn't care, or if the dealer was genuinely trying to help, Stellantis didn't care (edit: even if the vehicles were under warranty and they were). The gladiators cost as much (if not more) than the Tundras. The gladiators are ok as a jeep but not very good at being a truck. I had 3 Tundras before my little 3 year Jeep owner ships, and realized I'm so used to a big truck that its the only thing that would make me happy. Naturally went with a Tundra.

    Welcome.
We were once a Jeep household.
Last year got rid of my problem laden 2011 5.7 Grand Cherokee for the 2019 Tundra. Last week the wife traded in her Cherokee for a Toyota Highlander and we already own a 2010 Corolla with currently 240,000 miles that has never needed anything but fluids and plugs.
    100% Toyota now.
