Just a heads up to other members about @KENNY

This is what I received for spindles.
Real stand up guy, wouldn’t refund my money, even after I volunteered to pay shipping back.

How does one even list something in this condition?

I can share my PMs with whoever to prove my side of the story.

I’ll sell them to whoever for 370 shipped.

maybe with some sealant you might get the axle seals to stay water tight.

I bought stickers from him and he was very fast with shipping and they are good quality. Maybe he didn't realize they were damaged when he sold them?

I'll make 1 post on this. First thing I did after your mesaage was offer a refund, upon arrival of the items, minus my shipping cost. You asked for additional pics, I gave them, and you offered me less than asking and I accepted. Feel free to do as you like, my first sentence was I would be happy to offer you a refund. Rather than working this out your bitchyness on this matter escalated within minutes.

Looks like a metal shop can resurface that and the seal will seat no problem.

Sounds like he sold damaged spindles that he claimed were brand new and even admitted to the damage in his PM. Then offered a refund, BUT minus his shipping charges.

If they were damaged and he knew, then he shouldnt have claimed they were new and should give a full refund including shipping.

Again, this could go either way. He could have not known about the damage. If these were removed from my truck and my mechanic said they were good to sell I would have just sold them.

That's true they were claimed to be brand new and that scrape is from prying the seal off.

You can clean up the high spots, put new seals in, and they would be fine. The “seal” part is down in the round bore. Unfortunate that they got banged up a bit, but there is no way to ship those without getting damaged in some way. Cosmetic damage, if welds and everything else is good you got a decent deal on them.

But wouldn’t it be on the seller to inspect them and accurately represent the condition? Can’t blame the buyer for how the mechanic removed them. They just went off the posting.

You need to post the whole exchange, in chronological order, starting with the original ad. If something from a 2019 that had been installed was advertised as new, that is a problem.

Thanks for the reply @Vizsla, my problem is some of the gouged areas go past the seal edge, it’s hard to get the pics to show the damage.

I don’t like doing wheel bearings, so I’ll just resell them, hell I’ll even put some chassis saver paint on them for the next guy or gal.

the seller isn’t going to take them back, this is just a heads up to other members

That says from a brand new 2019. This listing actually said the spindles were brand new.

    Working on it!
From the OP selling them: "Spindles are brand new off a 2019 dealer truck that had a lift installed. Gussetts are Total Chaos and welding done by a local offroad shop. Looking to get $380 shipped for them Thanks."

There is nothing "brand new" that has been installed...we should all know this fact.
