Hi, I am looking for what product members recommend with these fender flares to protect the truck body paint finish from abrasion.
The original rubber seals are a joke and have never done the job. I took advice from a post a while back and removed them pending a fix. !!! Grrr!!! Like others warned, I had to carefully buff out traces of paint damage.
I have ordered some new and hopefully better, slightly wider gasket material, But need some tips on the clear film installation. Appreciate your advice and experience.
After spending $700 on the purchase and custom paint job on these things, I am not a happy camper. I carefully followed every installation step and recommendation but the seals just never adhered properly to the product. They constantly rolled out of position and drove me nuts.
If this doesn’t work, I may have a fire sale and move on to something else! LOL should have pulled the trigger on Katskins instead!
