Just installed some black fender flares. Bought black stainless steel screws. Rubber trim is a pain in the ass to install.

Looks good! If I’m you I go for those more Morimoto headlights. Someone is selling a pair but I think it would add to the look

Looks good but I would have did the PPF. Was going to do my LunaRock Pro but decided it’s a truck and I did not want to spend the money again like I did on my black C7Z06 but well worth it if it’s black.

    PPF instead of fender flares?

PPF goes on the fender in between the flares.

“Paint protection film (PPF) is a thermoplastic urethane film that goes over any painted surface on your car's exterior.”

PPF on the paint before installing the fender flares so the paint underneath doesn’t get F’ed up. Fender flares are notorious for causing paint issues underneath

Yeah the whole truck because of being black. But the cost is a lot so you could have done them under the flares.

Oh ok. I wasn’t sure what PPF was.

Hey Nick, This is a sample how easy it made for me. I bought 19 C7 Z06 black brand new and had it fully paint corrected and then they fully wrapped it with Suntex and then ceramic coated. I never have to worry about buffing swirls out of it or getting scratches in the paint. Real easy to wash and the dirt does not stick to the finish with having the wrap and ceramic coat. But it’s not cheap.

Nice. Might do that on my next vehicle when it’s brand new before any scratches.

I installed the same 202 black painted bushwhackers and installed with the rubber flange gasket they sent. They were horrible from the start, left gaps and didn’t adhere properly even when I was super meticulous in the prep. Anyhow a year later I removed them and redid the whole install with a wider gasket recommended and with the PFf over the paint. Live and learn… they have been perfect ever since. The film protects the paint and worth the extra effort. I had to use compound to clean the rub marks left by movement of the gasket. As an aside, I used the GF’s black nail polish to paint the shiny stainless faux screws and they look great! My cheapest mod

    On Amazon

With the 25’ roll I came up short by a few inches with no waste and just finished up with what I had on hand. I mounted these carefully in the house and let them sit overnight. I had no issues with adhesion before or after. The fit is snug.
