    3 inch lift, 35 x 12.5 x 20 tires
    Hello everyone,

I am new to the site, I have an 08 Tundra. I added the 3 inch lift and put on 35x12.5x20. I have the clearance but what I am noticing is traveling when hitting a bump. After hitting a bump the truck slides left or right on the road a little before I correct it. I was told by a friend to take off the sway bar links to correct this problem. Is this true?

Mine SLIGHTLY does that if the bump is bad enough but not enough to rule it a problem.

    Check alignment specs.

And I wouldn't take off the sway bar...

Just a few, more to come
    A few things I'd do/check:
Tire pressure. Are they set excessively high? Lower the pressure down to around 40psi if the tires are set at something like 60psi currently. Should 'soften' the bump a little
Alignment. Did it get an alignment after the lift? What is your caster number?
If the alignment is done, but has poor numbers, consider some aftermarket UCAs to add caster, then go get another alignment.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
As others have said it appears to be bump steer. Caster angle should help this. Make sure its in spec.
Do not remove the front sway bar.

If you like to live life on the end.. take off your front sway bar -- do it!

Sway bar is most likely keeping you shiny side up right now. Don't take that off, as others have said.

Welcome aboard and hopefully the alignment will rectify things for you!
