Bullydog tundra programmer

Does anyone run the Bullydog programmer in there truck?. Just wondering what are the best settings to use? And how do I get the gas pedal less sensitive to the touch??. Thanks..

 

Set it up like this:

tune premium
Throttle trail
Shifting performance
Speed unlimited

 

Ok will do. Another question? Im running 295/70/18s. Does this bully dog adjust speedo for the tire size I’m running?? Also any thing for better fuel mileage? Truck sucks on fuel mileage..

 

The tires can’t be adjusted for. That’s a different ecu on our trucks. All you can do is regear it. That would make it shift right and give you a little better fuel economy. The tuner settings would make it drive a lot better.

 

Ok cool. I just need to do updates. Got it from a friend it’s like new. I didn’t like the touchy throttle very scary to me. So the settings you gave me will put it almost to stock throttle feel.?

Right on thank you for the help.. I’ll keep you posted when I get it installed all the way and tuned.I’m not planning on leaving the head unit mounted just set tuner and remove it unless there’s something I need to do as it comes on.

 

Hey Keith, question for you.my bully dog since I’m in CALI now they won’t give me any support on it.it’s not installed any longer I would like to reconnect tuner.do you have tons of knowledge on those?.

 

Has anyone had the invalid characters in vin error in update agent for the bullydog tuner gt+ gas? T401. I’m able to install the correct year and model of tundra, but when I go back to download and update the actual tunes I get this error in update agent. And when I go to setting my vin is definitely in there so I don’t think it’s been previous locked to anyone else.
