need stock suspension replacements (all 4) for 07 DC 4x4 SR5 5.7. Dealer says I need the vin to buy correct shocks and struts because there are 54 front struts and 7 rear shock options for this year alone. I see 2 different units on the Toyota parts site. This sounds like BS, I only want to replace the damper all around not mod spring rate or height. Is there an interchange list somewhere?
I found a fresh set off a 2017, cant I just have those installed in my current strut assembly and shock mount? I’d hate to buy them and have the installer tell me they won’t work.

Any clarity you can provide would be appreciated, I’m sure this has been addressed before but can’t find it when searching.
