My truck is a 2017 Crewmax, purchased new. I'm getting a "Blind Spot Monitoring … fault" warning. No apparent recent damage to the bumper corners noted. I've had several electronic type issues with the truck including a battery that failed at just over two years, three fuses that blew when perhaps the system supporting charging ports overloaded (in warranty), and now intermittent tire pressure sensor warnings when the temperature dips into the 30's.
Do I have another fuse issue with the BSM warning?
36,000 mile Warranty expired for me at about 1.5 years...

-battery lasting 2 years isn’t uncommon.
    - fuses blew one time and it was fixed?
    - air pressure changes with temperature. 35psi at 70* will dip down to 29-30 psi at 30*. This is why the sensors are coming on.

None of these are actual electrical issues. May have simply had a sensor go bad. Bring it in if it’s still under warranty.

Batteries last 2 years? Maybe the ones Toyota buys?... I've owned several brand new vehicles. I've found that batteries fail pretty much about the time for which they are warrantied. When the fuses blew (3 of them, at under 12 months) it caused the hands free, nav., stereo et al to go down. The weather was temperate, and nothing life threatening. Apparently, the Toyota electrical system is not very robust or is designed improperly. The TPM sensor warning goes away after a few highway miles.
Since the Toyota warranty is only 36k, and I drive on the average 24K a year, there was no warranty after about 18 months.
I bought the Tundra in part, because of Toyota's reputation for reliability. Sadly, that is not my reality thus far.
The truck is just about 3 years old- and I need an $800 dollar (or 2 of them...?) sensor? Fuses are cheap. New batteries, etc. are not. I can deal with the virtually unusable voice recognition, the paint issues, the transmission's lack of an isolated 2nd gear, and the spare tire lock I found jammed and mangled against the frame-
About one more of these 'little' issues and I'll be on to something a bit more than a 'freeway four wheel drive' pick up.
