BSM & RCTA lights

All other lights on this truck and most other autos are normally off and light up when there is a problem. Why are these different?

"When my handgun safety is off, I have a Red Dot alerting me."

"Red is dead" if you see the red dot your firearm is ready to fire.

Not sure what the issue is. Just turn them off.

 

Glocks don't have an external safety. On my other guns, I feel it and not see it.

With the lights I occasionally have a split second of, "what's wrong?", when I see the lights.

The other sensors light up when they are off. I don't see why these are different.
