Anyone had the BSM/RCTA malfunctioning warning come up after replacing a side mirror? I've searched around online and see people mentioning it, but haven't seen a solution. I replaced my driver side glass with the exact same and the warnings didn't clear.

Obviously you checked your wiring to make sure it was all hooked up correctly and plugged in fully? Pull the battery cable for a bit and reset to see if it goes away.

Thanks. Yep. It's just three wires, one of which can only fit in one spot.

I'm gonna try the battery later, but from the little I've read online about it, it isn't likely to work. Crossing my fingers though. I've been looking around to see if there's a diagnostic reset process, or maybe this is something that would show up in an OBD2 scan that could be cleared. If I have to take it to the dealer it'll likely negate the cash I saved by not buying a whole mirror.

I'd try the OBD scan/clear. OBD Doctor and other apps can clear them.

Sorry. I saw this but didn't realize I hadn't replied. Everyone got busy and it got so cold again that I haven't checked on this yet again. Maybe the auto parts store will read and clear it. Or I have a buddy that may have a scanner. Thanks.

Yeah auto parts folks can clear them. Good luck.
