Broken window no replacement found

Hey everyone. As much as I love my ‘22 tundra it’s been one issue or bad luck after another. Had a rock ricochet and crack/break my passenger side window. I’m located in Canada and currently there is no eta on a replacement passenger window. So now waiting on cracked seat panel and a window. Any one possibly have any leads on one?

Try a different glass shop. I went from "no eta" to, "see you next week". Windshield in West Coast Canada on a 22

True that. Grind shouldn’t stop. I’ll keep calling others.

 

It's not just the Tundra. Been waiting almost 2 months on a 2024 4Runner windshield for my wife's ride. Not sure how they're out of a windshield for a vehicle that has been the same for almost two decades. Toyota claiming a part shortage again. I guess the windshields have chips in them now.

 

Toyota's go to response now....."part shortage"

Unfortunately, the thieves are breaking the windows faster than they can be made. Speedy auto glass can custom make a window, takes a couple of weeks.

 

Was a whirlwind of calls and emails. So close to getting a freight forwarder to ship here in Canada but lucked out with a shop a couple of hours away. Now to wait on my cracked seat panel. Damnit Toyota I want to love you.
