Broke the ECM connector clip thingy

    Well, me being me I was removing all the wiring bits and pieces to pull the engine but then I decided to just do the head gaskets. Truck overheated and I guess everything got brittle and the ECM connector clip snapped off, now it is throwing 50+ codes and whenever it is pushed in it drops the codes down to like 5 and I am wondering if the clip and connecter can just be replaced or do I need a whole new harness. This is for a 2008 tundra 4.7l The clip in the upper left hand corner in the photo below

    Don’t see your photo but I’m sure the connector can be de-pinned and replaced fairly easy by a qualified individual.

    TRD Sway Bar, Roll covers USA bed cover
    look up the work manual and match the connector to it

    Let me know what you did i bought a used truck and found i have same problem i would push it in once a month and it wasn't a big deal but now it comes loose alot the new ecu is like 700 bucks and i just need the retaining bracket but seems to be a package deal
