I’m doing my spark plugs on passanger side and was trying to get the harness off the studs for better access and pulled wires out of a connection I think it might be the temperature sensor. Can someone confirm and tell me how to fix it since the actual wires were yanked out.

    TIA,Cesar

not a master at this, but that feels like a vvt solenoid

as for replacing those wires... depin and repin the connector. buy a new connector and pin it.

Ok I bought a replacement plug to just wire back up but it’s all black wires. Any idea in what pin i should hook up the wires. The harness on truck has yellow, black, and red with blue line wires. I’m messing around with the old plug trying to depin it with no luck. I have the white lock out but that’s it

Patience is your friend. No idea on which wire goes to which side. I can run out and grab a pic of the connector on my truck after this 45 min meeting. That will get you some reference point at least.

Couldn't recall which color the wire set was when outside, so I just grabbed both sides. I was pretty sure it was the left. grabbing both was easier.

Yep should a breeze with that picture :) I got the pins out but looks like I need new pins since they are crimped already. I’m just gonna wire the new plug with longer wires so it doesn’t happen again lol
