    So I've been here a few months now, but never got around to formally intoducing myself.

    Bruce from Winnipeg here. Picked up a brand new 2019 Crewmax SR5 in Cavalry Blue a couple months ago. We have since added a 2020 Red Rav4 AWD XLE for my wife, to complete our Toyota family. It seemed to work out well for both of us: Truck for me and Rav4 for her. They replaced a 2006 Sienna (sold privately) and a 2008 Escape (written off).

    I've never been a car or truck guy, but this seems to be changing with the truck. I'm eager to learn DIY mods, hacks, tweaks and repairs. I'm by no means a mechanics but am competent with home repairs and woodworking.

    The truck is mainly a city truck and was purchased to allow us better handling and transportation of outr small 17' Hybrid trailer for camping and when the kids and I go tenting. It's made a few trips to the dump, hauling branches and trees, picking up free firewood etc.

    You'll see me hanging out in the food section a lot as I enjoy a good BBQ and smoke discussion. I've been grilling for years and took up charcoal smoking on a Vision Kamado about 10y ago and Horizontal stick burner smoking about 3y ago.

    So far the truck is pretty much stock mechanically but we have done the following to it:
    • LineX Premium
    • OEM hood deflector
    • OEM 5" Nerf bars (they may get black powder coated in spring)
    • LED interior
    • OEM rear folding step
    • TufSkins blue fog light trim bezel
    • OEM Tundra Tailgate nameplate
    • DIY door sills
    • Stubby antenna
    • Plastidip cupholder and shifter chrome
    • Debadged a few emblems, Tundra on side doors are the last survivors
    Eventually I'd like to level and get another set of rims/tires for winter, but all in time. The lift would play issues with parking at work, so that may be after I retire in 8-9y.

    Anyways, thanks to all of you who have been so welcoming and helping me out with the few simple mods I have already tackled and needed questions answered with.
