Hi all, so I just got back from a dealer 90 miles away from me and picked up a 2016 Crewmax with 52k on it. I never checked alarm, as we looked at vehicle in the parking lot etc. Truck was never locked.

Now when I get home I have an issue after opening it with remote, alarm goes off (the horn) and the remote doesnt turn it off (lock /unlock). The only thing that turns honking off is the key then it wont start either. It honks 3 times then will start BUT only if I iuse key in the door!

WTH is going on? It says has a factory Toyota alarm as seen on the window sticker. Is there a reset or what? Both keys stop the Immobilizer light on dash and both open and both keys start truck but any ideas? I have the standard 3 button Toyota remote

Is there a reset? I undid the battery for 10 min, cleaned post, then reinstalled both posts, and still same thing!! :( This sucks to be happening after only owning literally 24 hrs.
Every time I open it, horn wakes the entire neighborhood...

PS> BOTH batteries in remotes are new ones, I did this am. ***

    Thank you

Welcome from OKC! Check out all of the mini fuses located in the fuse box above the parking brake pedal. It's a small box about 1.5" wide x 5" long black cover far up in there.
