Brakedust vs. TRD rims

    Having Trouble getting the brake dust off my rims, using Chemical Guys cleaner for them but just can't get them back to the original gloss shine I love, any/all suggestions are welcome!

    Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, HD RAS, 285/75-18 Nokian Outpost AT, LoPro bed cover, TRD rear sway bar, DD 10 inch exhaust, and various other goodies
    lets see pics and see what is going on. Dust you can clean off, if they are pitted, that is another story.

    Pro wheels? Matte finishes are notoriously difficult to clean. Mine are ceramic coated and it still usually takes Ferrex or an APC with a pressure washer to eradicate brake dust. Definite downside of the finish.

    Poor man's limited; Fox 2.0 & 5100s; 285/70 RG
    Hot shot or hot wheels something like that by meguiars (like $5-6.99 at Walmart for a translucent purple bottle) does a great job with brake dust. After following those directions I rinse and just run a regular wash/wax soap (meguiars again - neon yellow) over them and that gets them as shiny as I want them to be.
