Hi my pedal is soft and I have this weird noise from the master cylinder or Brake Booster. What do you think I should switch out to resolve this. I have attached a video here https://streamable.com/mo5mtd

This is the noise it makes when the pedal is pressed and held down

    Thank you for your help.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak from somewhere, thats the noise I think. You could hear it shift when you wiggled the MC, so I'm guessing a leak where it joins with the booster.

@cardiac There should be a paper gasket between the master cylinder and booster.

I gave the 2 bolts holding the mastercylinder to the brake booster a bit of a nip up and it seems to have got rid of the noise.
I checked around the peddle in the inside to see if there's any fluid but it's dry.
I also pulled the vacum pipe off the booster and plugged the pipe, there was no noticable different in tickover also I pushed a tie-wrap into the hole it attaches to on the booster and I heard a pop like pressure release so I guess the booster is OK and holding pressure.
Next I bled all 4 wheels and didnt see any air coming out of any of them.
Lastly I went in underneath the back and pulled the parking brake cables a couple of good yanks to see if its the back shoes that hadn't been auto adjusting causing the soft peddle, it's flat where I live so I never use the parking brake. I'll know tomorrow if theres any difference.
I put a PowerStop® - Z36 kit on it about an year and 1/2 ago and did the back shoes and put braided hoses all round back then. Just a bit miffed wht it's gone spongy. It was friggin lethal up until recently.
Maybe time for a set of new pads anyway, I'll do that this week.

Well none of that made any difference really (pads havn't arrived yet) ended up up going in with a screwdriver through the little long slot on the rear brakeplate and adjusting the rear shoes.
It seems to be down ways rotation of the rachet wheel is you need to do on both sides. It was a lot like maybe 2 full rotations of that adjuster gear before I could feel the hubs starting to bind slightly.
This has improved the pedal substantially.

The problem is so well-known and typical, there's an entire sticky thread dedicated to nothing but that topic: https://www.tundras.com/threads/rear-brake-adjustment-theory-and-practice.99575/
