Hi I just bought a 2001 Tundra, the frame is good but there is a lot of rust on it. I am planning on using POR-15. I removed the box and will be replacing it. I saw that the brake proportioning valve is pretty rusted and I was thinking of replacing it and its expensive.

Can I bypass it and remove it. I saw in a Tacoma forum that this could be done. I don't use the truck to move heavy things.

So what will be the issues if I by pass it and how to do it.

    Any help will be appreciated.
