    I have a 2006 Tundra V6
I had mechanic replace all brakes.
When I picked it up I noticed that when I slowed down to stop It would slow the truck and just before coming to a complete stop it makes a groaning noise that seems to be on the left front side. When making the noise the pedal has slight variation and goes down some and the vehicle stops.
I returned to mechanic and they cleaned the ABS sensors. It didn’t help and they are unable to correct issue.
The ABS fuse is good. No ABS or check engine lights.
I replaced the rotors. ( old ones looked fine )
I noticed that the anti rattle springs were in the lower position on calipers. I moved them to the top like it was shown in repair manual. ( probably doesn’t matter? )
I inspected the calipers for leaks. None
I replaced the pads with a different brand.
It sounds like the brake pads are dragging.
    Any suggestions ??????????

Drive around only using the parking brake if you need to slow down, then feel both front wheels and see if theyre hot. Pads might just need to bed in. Another thing to test is how much the pads wiggle in cold calipers vs hot calipers. If you just hear the noise i’d think the pads need bedding in, get a little polish on the surface, if you ‘feel’ the noise the brakes might not be releasing correctly.

also check your dust shields for rubbing.

I’m going to install new flexible brake lines
Could this issue be caused from a damaged inner liner on a brake line ??

Could be, do the brake lines look like they’ve been crushed anywhere? Are you in a humid or rust prone area?

might as well upgrade to stainless steel brake lines while your at it. Not that much more expensive.

I’d want to know what the fluid looked like before I replaced lines.

Update on truck brake noise. I replaced brake lines and still have noise.
I bought new front abs sensors and replaced. While replacing I noticed that the bolt heads on sensors looked untouched. The mechanic said that they cleaned them.
After removing them I noticed that one was pretty dirty. I put new ones on and problem solved. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I checked old ones with meter and they were fine.
Can’t wait to go see the mechanic.
