Brake Caliper Bolt Torque Spec for Rears

Hey Everyone,

I am a total novice when it comes to brake jobs. I did watch a few videos and planning on changing the rear brake pads myself. I have a question about the torque spec of the two bolts that hold the brake caliper. Once removed, it exposes the pad.

Do you know if it is 41 foot pounds or 151 foot pounds?

I know it's NOT 151 ft pounds

Even 40 seems high to me

From the Toyota factory service manual:

Front disc brake caliper bolt 73 LB-FT
Rear disc brake caliper bolt 65 LB-FT

Sorry just realized in a 3rd gen thread. Breaks already?

 

54k Miles and dealership said only 4mm left on the rear pads.
