The leaf spring rear mounts that are bolted into the frame on my 07… have rusted out, causing my leafs to twist off camber, and shift my axle over. I took the truck to a shop to have the issue assessed as I thought my frame may have had a twist in it (as per the alignment shop told me) turns out it’s just those mounts. Of course they want to charge me an arm and a leg to do the work, as the box of the truck has to be lifted off. Has anyone here had experience doing these mounts? Or taking the box off for that matter? I have a garage with an I beam hoist, so I will have no issues physically lifting the box off, but how difficult is it to get it loosened?

My other issue is sourcing the parts, leaf springs are readily available but the frame mounts not so much. Toyota is supposed to be looking for me and getting back to me in the next day or so… but since the truck is older they often don’t carry the parts anymore, I’m in the Okanagan of bc Canada. If anyone knows of a place locally or a website I may be able to source them from? The OEM part numbers are :
    48405A(RH)
    48406(LH)
