    Hello everyone,

Very happy to join a forum on this particular truck. I have a small landscaping business and I needed a truck that could haul more than my 5 cylinder GMC Canyon. I wondered if any of my clients had a truck they weren't using...I asked the couple with the Tundra and WOW...they actually had this up for sale.

Well yesterday I bought it. 2006 Tundra 4 door, leather interior, with towing package. 201,000 miles but in pretty decent shape. On the test drive I ran it over to a local shop which put it up on a lift and scanned the computer. "Frame is immaculate" were their words. I suspect the frame was replaced during that recall but the seller didn't know, they not being the original owners.

It has a few issues and that's why I'm here. Hopefully you guys can help me out as I want to fix the "usual suspects" before I start towing around my lawn mowers and tractor.

I'm 49 years old, married, no kids. Started this biz just for extra gas money but it's ballooned up into a full-time gig. Next planned buy is a bigger trailer now that I have a truck that can pull it.

Welcome to the group. Let's hope this Tundra will last you into retirement. Swing over to the first generation section and ask what you should watch out for. Being a 2021 owner I can't tell you much about the earlier models but I can give you a warm welcome from Ohio.
