I have a JBL system and have never used that button. I assume you push it and say something like "call mom" or "text Adam"
Is this all it does or is there a way that it will actually work to control my phone connected via BT or even usb cable. Like can I push that button and say "play van Halen on pandora"? Or maybe I can just use my "ok Google" voice for that? I'm trying to utilize the tech we actually do have in these trucks.

    Function before sparkle.
Press and hold the answer phone button on the steering wheel to activate Siri or Ok Google via Bluetooth.

The Entune stuff would be "call mom" and send quick texts, start navigation, change to a SiriusXM station and a few other functions. If you have an iPhone, you can activate Siri and do anything from there, like start music from an app, send real text messages, ask about the weather, etc. This does NOT work for Android, though, and was one of the reasons I gave up on my Pixel 2 and went back to iOS. I had good luck using "hey Google" to bridge some of those functions, though.
