    Hey All

I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. I recently traded my 2019 platinum for an 23 capstone. Love the truck but my Boss V I’m told can’t be placed on it! I wish I knew before I bought it but it is what it is. I need a plow on it, are there any options anyone has done?

Just your own property? Have another vehicle that the plow can be attached to? New Tundys lack the front attachment points (no front tow hooks for instance) and have a bunch of whiz-bang on the front now. More evidence they aren’t trying to build a real truck anymore.

So aggravating, yeah that’s what I’m reading be everywhere. I got the truck as a replacement for my plow and my weekend runner. I have an SUV for family shit this was supposed to be my everything else truck. Doesn’t make sense to buy something else, I’ll probably trade in for the new denali unfortunately. The hybrid was a disappointment anyway… 15.3 tops

yes for mine and a few rental properties in the area I have, nothing crazy

Welcome and sorry it’s not working out for you but sadly Toyota didn’t really design this one with plowing in mind

Mine was built for room and to haul some things from the Home Depot Store once in awhile, possibly tow something for a friend sometimes. I believe there are others out there for less money for a work/farm/plow trucks and more capable also. To make a Toyota truck really do what a person wants to do requires a lot of time and money and that is a fact. I have always thought of my Tundra as a fancy person hauler, I like the room. Tundras especially a Capstone is not what a person would consider a work/farm truck. I really don’t believe that someone would purchase a high dollar rig like that to go plowing in the winter with! Toyota has not built a real work truck that I can remember. JMO!:)

I did not know the 23 Tundras were even hitting the dealers yet???

I know lots of business owners / self employed that buy the highest end model available of a particular truck. They just right it off. Also a “statement” for their business. Appears to be “high end” business. Then they beat the ever living shit out of them and never clean them out. But make no mistake, a king ranch or a high country can still work. Prior Gen 1794 could still work. This new generation Tundra is leaving work behind.
