Boost mirrors causing BSM problems

I recently installed aftermarket Boost towing mirrors on my 2020 Tundra. Since then I have been getting a warning that my Blind Spot Monitoring(BSM) is not functioning. The first time this happened I turned BMS off and back on and that fixed the problem. Yesterday got the warning again, but this time the off/on solution did not work.
Looking for ideas of why this is happening and ways to fix it. I love the mirrors, but also want my BSM.

 

Have you reached out to Boost? Their customer service is pretty good and they will probably have a better idea.

I assume your mirrors are BSM compatible and its been working for you?

 

Thanks, Robert. I contacted Boost and they gave me a couple of tests to do. When I gave them the results they think it a problem with the passenger side mirror and they are sending me new glass to install.
I will report back to this thread when I get it installed and let everyone know if that solved the problem.
Boost was very quick to respond and very interested in solving my problem.

 

I had this same issue with mine. Intermittent BSM failure. Recorded the code it was throwing, gave it to Boost, and they sent me a replacement glass for the passenger side. I installed that (be very careful, as it's easy to break both the tabs and the glass) and it resolved the issue for a few weeks, but then it came back. They ended up sending me a replacement set of mirrors which ultimately resolved the issue.

Boost has incredible customer support. They were really great to work with as we stepped through my issue.
