2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

So I'm having an issue when I'm tapping into my cargo lights. I have followed the install on the bed lights that show tapping the switch on a 19 Tundra which is Pin5 violet but, when I tap into that wire the cargo light works normal but my flood lights turn on when i put the switch to off? I've tried tapping the other wires just for the hell of it and I'm getting nowhere.
