    Hi,
I just moved up in the Toyota world by swapping out my 2009 2.7 manual Tacoma (I loved that truck) for the 2010 Tundra (I love this truck too)

I find myself sitting on the tailgate often, and I have always wondered if there is a way install speakers into a roll/sport bar. I've looked online and only seen lights, but with all tailgate enthusiast I've met, it seems that everyone just cranks the radio to 11 and rolls down the windows.

Boats put speakers on the boom towers, I want speakers, and rear facing lights, on my roll bar!!!

Anyone know a company that does this? Or would do this if I gave them enough money? I really like this one and think speakers on the sides would be awesome.

Dont you think it might help to know where you are?

I install NEAR Speakers for this when I need to and they sound better than any Marine speaker that I have heard though there are plenty of good weatherproof choices out there designed for Marine use too as you suggest.

I went to replace a set Yesterday that are more than 10 years old around a pool that sit outside here all year long and it turned out that the Amp was bad and the speakers were fine.

I also have several sets outside in S Florida for over 10 years that just keep cranking along.

I don't know of anything else more rugged including speakers made for amusement park use outside maybe and those dont sound as good as the NEAR especially with lower powered car amplification.

They actually have patents on the way they make them waterproof from back in the '50s.
