Anyone know about this problem. My son connected his I phone when he used it . He disconnected it and my bluetooth has not worked since. It's a 2015, took it to the dealer and was told needs a new unit, $1000.00. I've been told this is not a uncommon problem with I phones. Any advice would be appreciated.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Welcome from Sin City!

As far as the iPhone and your truck’s radio have you tried connecting from the device instead of waiting for the truck to connect to it?

I had similar issues with my '14, but not with my '18...yet. @040Tundra is right, get out the owner's manual and read about the two different ways to connect (i.e., initiated by truck vs. initiated by the phone). Then tell the truck to "forget" your device, reboot truck (haha) and reboot the phone and try connecting using either method. I agree it's a PITA, but a lot of us have had to deal with it at one time or another. Stay vigilant and tell your dealer to pound sand. Also, maybe check to see if your truck is on the current version of whatever software it's supposed to have.

Edit: there have to be a half-dozen other threads on here about the same thing. Try searching for "bluetooth" or "connect phone" and see what you find.

Thanks guys for the input. Deleted devices, unpluged the truck overnight, rebooted the unit still nothing. The unit acts like it has no bluetooth. Can't access anything. Pretty much at the end of my rope. There is no current update for the unit. I have been told to reinstall the firmware, don't know where to get a hold of that. I'll dig into some of the other posts and see what I can come up with.

I just checked, the link works and the last update for your model was released in 2017. If you just bought your truck, or you've had it since 2015 it might have never had the update added.

There is indeed an update for the 14 and 15. If you tried with navigation, try again without navigation.

They both work for the same.
