Bluetooth issues

Having problems with my radio in my 2021 Tundra…. Started the day I upgraded to a new cell phone…deleted my old phone from the radios memory and paired my new phone…the next time I started the truck and starting driving I noticed my truck (radio) was connecting then disconnecting, connecting, disconnecting, connecting, etc…. This happens every time I drive and it’s so irritating…. Old phone was a iPhone 8…new phone is a iPhone 16 Pro…. Any suggestions???

 

Have you checked to see if there is an update for your radio? https://www.toyota.com/firmware-updates you can check on this website with your vin.

Generally, these units suck with BT connectivity. Even Car Care Nut on YouTube says they do and all you can do is just delete them and re-add them. My 23 Hybrid Sienna never picks the correct phone when there's two people in the car. Always picks my wifes phone for BT but mine for Android Audio etc. Annoying, I would have to remove her phone and select mine.

 

Yes I’ve checked my radio and the software is up to date
