Blued MAX decal - Yay or Nay?

Need opinions. I ordered blue lettering for my 2022 iforce Max hood decals.

its a tiny detail, but I can’t tell if I want to leave them on or not. Thoughts?

No sir but if you blacked out the chrome around it it may look somewhat better?

 

Is the i-Force hood ornament functional or not? If the vents open to the engine bay then "Yes" the blue max looks great. If they are just hood ornaments then you ornamented an ornament and I say "No" Lol

Just kidding I think it looks good and makes your different than all the others. Heck what do I know I'm making my 2023 Limited TRD into a 2023 Limited TRD Pro with Fox Pro Shocks, springs, skid plate and all including chrome door handles.. Lol

Custom looks to make them our own.

MGM looks amazing with black or black chrome.

 

I don’t hate the blue. You do you, don’t worry about what a bunch of us clowns on the internet think. Otherwise we’d all be driving the same truck.

 

the word “max” has the side of the letter in blue (much like the blue sided Toyota logo for all hybrids), so it’s got this blue already. What I did was just put the top on to match.

I actually like pops of color, especially if it is something you can accent later such as caliper paint or engine paint stuff...

by itself... meh....

 

I’d like to turn the entire iforce max hood ornament to flat black, but I’m not plasti-dipping it. I wish it could be removed, but it screws into the hood

If you like it, that’s all that matters…if I had a Platinum I would take off the hood & door ornaments.

IMHO, if you want the blue, then you need to add the same shade blue elsewhere to tie it together. Something in a new wheel etc.

I dont hate but it, however all by itself would look odd ( that's just me though )

I did this with mine as well, but in red. Still trying to decide what to do with the rest of the chrome on the hood "vent". Originally had it all blacked out but decided to try some red out since I have the red stripe and TRD overlays on the grille, TRD offroad decals plus other red accents on the interior. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I dig it.

Yes.

Also, blue accent lighted interior (platinum feature I believe?) and the chrome/blue Toyota logo in the front due to it being a hybrid

 

What did you black it out with?

 

That accent lighting is the best. Road trip thru the mountains with no city ambient light around ....Toyota nailed this.

 

I did it with plastidip, got a good amount of layers on it.

I do like the Max, my Platinum in in Super Sonic Red. The only thing I would like to have is the radio on one side of the screen and the map on the other side (like my Wifes 2021 Highlander Limited) but 'Stealer' said it couldn't be done.

I went with a pro moulding with blackout. I actually like the matte finish better than the gloss on the iforcemax ones.

 

I thought the blue was intended for the hybrid models. If you're not hybrid, why would you get the blue lettering?
