A while ago, if I stomped on the gas, like racing someone (I do that occassionally... for giggles) the next time I start my truck, the exhaust would bellow out a smoke puff, the size of my truck!!
I mentioned it to the dealership, they looked at it..... all's good. Well, I managed to get it on video and showed them again. They said to call Toyota and create a case. I did. Got my appointment and brought my truck. They gave me a 2021 Camry Hybrid as a loaner. OMG is that sweet... anyways, almost a week later, my truck got new valve seals!!! They told me it was a 20 hour job. I replaced the PVC valve 3k miles ago.... so they said the next step are valve seals.
I haven't noticed any smoke now and I don't have that knocking noise you hear while it's idling!!
Just thought I'd share this info.

How many miles are on the truck? Depending on how long it was burning oil, your cats are likely to fail early.

    Not enough....
That is pretty bad for only 33k miles! But yeah, that definitely looked like valve seals lol. It is a pretty odd failure point with such low mileage, but I'm glad Toyota took care of it for you.

Update at 50K miles... Truck is back at the dealership for possible "blown head gasket"!!! They said I'm down .3 of oil and coolant.
Back to the Camry hybrid loaner. Not happy.
