I can tolerate the console shifter.

I rented a brand new Suburban recently and the damn gear selector was a strip of buttons on the dash…

 

I got one last Christmas. I had no idea how much I hated the stock handle until I changed it. It’s a favorite little upgrade that I always forget that I did.

 

I just can’t handle the red

I remember the first time I saw a console shifter and I don't think I would get in the truck. Thought it was the dumbest thing I've seen and ow I don't mind it. hahah

The column shifter will always remind me of my pops old C10 Chevy. Loved that truck! Will always have memories of him in that truck.

 

So, this is "progress?" Grandfather had a '62 Chrysler with push button shifting on the dash!

 

One of these days, I'm doing that boot-mod! I'm not replacing my shifter, looks like it's required, so probably not gonna happen.

Have purchased many items thru redline in the past and would absolutely recommend them.

I worked with them to create a template for an Infiniti center console cover (they hadn't done one yet) about 20 years ago. Even with the whole process of sending in the factory cover, I remember the turnaround being quite reasonable. Especially considering they are (or used to be) based out of the UK.

Great quality stuff. Might have to put in an order for the tundra and get the bimmer some fancier stitching while I'm at it.

 

I'm seeing them on Amazon for $ 20 and less. It'll be worth a shot....I'm in!
