My blower motor/fan is making a weird noise. The filter was pretty dirty and I can see some leaves stuck in the fan. Any good way to clean it out? I tried a vacuum/air compressor no dice.

Safe to keep using it? Will i damage it? I have to drive it for work right now unfortunately.

Use it until it stops working or you can't handle the noise from the leaves. If you are patient you might be able to pick the leaves out. Use it as you need to, I would not worry about leaves damaging it unless they fully block its ability to turn/run.

Being a 2009, it is probably original. Blower is easy and inexpensive to swap out when you have time.

Being in Canada has real disadvantages one major being we don't get the sales south of the 49th enjoy. It's bad enough
we lose close to 40% on dollar exchange ++ profits the oh so poor dealers struggle for. I've bookmarked that thread
but what I'm also doing is making a definitive parts list for next years 25%+free shipping deal so I can have an
organized bunch of parts I am able to put off until next year. On a single muffler I saved over $225 this year.

Is it a rhythmic clicking from leaves and debris hitting the fan blades? If so, drop the fan, remove the debris, and reinstall. It's like 3-4 Phillips screws,.I've done it a couple times on road trips when the clicking drives me crazy.

Very easy to remove and clean or replace- most aftermarket ones work just as well..
