I shorted something putting in a new toggle switch for a light bar.. now my blower motor doesn’t kick on. I’ve searched high and low for a simple answer.. where is the relay or fuse location???? Inside the cab , outside the cab… about to loose my marbles

Blower doesn’t work in any position? Usually if the power motor resistor shorts, for example, you only get two speeds: MAX and OFF. If you have nothing, then it’s more likely a fuse.

No blower at any setting. I can’t find a fuse that’s bad.. I did notice that fuse #15 and #20 under the dash aren’t getting any power.

You did check fuses in the engine bay right? There are just as many fuses and relays there. Some are A/C linked.

I did. I’m suprised there isn’t a specified “blower” fuse on the lid. I’ll recheck them all today. This blue wire in the attachment below doesn’t have any juice. It used to have juice with the key on or off. Not sure how to tell what the wire goes to.

Hold on. This is the FGT forum. Are you talking about your Gen 2.5? Probably get better advice on their side.

Oops. I saw the “00” in the username and assumed he was a 2000 owner, then I saw the pic, and was, like, “my god that’s some fucking spaghetti wiring!” only to realize I don’t recognize any of the connectors.

No offense, but that shot looks like a fire hazard.

It’s all good, happens to all of us sometimes. Here: https://www.tundras.com/forums/2-5-gen-tundras-2014-2021.27/

1st gen has been around longer and has more problems so we tend to hit on a lot of search results, especially when people don’t use the checkbox to limit their results to their generational forum.

Good luck getting your issue solved!
