Yep.. that’s what I did to my Tundra today.. 400 miles on it.

I installed infinity kappa components and dynamat in all four doors, was trying to replace the factory amp using first, a wiring diagram I sourced from the internet using taps on the factory wiring. When that failed I ordered an amp wiring harness from ********* and cut the ends off to use with my amp (wish I would have just bought their amp and wire kit). But I had a newish mini amp that was on my motorcycle that was still in perfect condition. It uses very little power it’s just barely better than factory. So I decided to just use the factory wiring to power it.

I went out after work and spent about an hour getting it all wired up, I was rushed for time. Got it all hooked up, it sounded amazing! So I turned the truck off to go eat dinner and relax and the radio wouldn’t shut off.. I noticed that when I hooked the amp up the radio came on, thought it was weird but went with it. So once I noticed the amp on music playing and no way to shut it off I pulled it all apart again.. this time only using my test light and multimeter testing the wires. It seemed right so I turned the truck on and the speakers made a screaming noise then the radio went blank.. nothing.. black screen.. I think start pulling fuses The radio fuse and amp fuse are fine. I pulled the negative off the battery let it sit a few hours put it back and still nothing.. so I pulled the radio out used my multimeter and test light and checked the wiring into the radio and I have power there just one wire, the amp has the constant power but no remote power and no other power behind the radio either.. even worse, it’s a lease... FML ..

Doubt they'll open up the door panels, but they could. I'd still try it.

In 3 years this entune should be cheap? I think I’ll just buy a Tesla screen for it and come lease end get a used entune for it.
