Had my maiden voyage yesrterday. It includes an interior camera and rear camera. I will probably skip the interior one for now and add the LTE module so the video goes directly into the cloud. I think the microsd card would be a pain to remove on a regular basis . got it from the dashcam store which has a pretty good website / social media to research these. they also hve a mount that looks good for the rear camera. I am thinking of hardwiring it to a spod for parking mode and i could use the switch to override it when i dont want it on. i have a couple video clips but will have to add those later.

How often would the SD card need to be removed?

theoretically never or only when you wanted to watch the video clips. i think it will be fun to watch and save some but less fun taking the card out - not. big deal though

Thanks. I want to get a system for my Tundra and your comment caught my attention.
In a previous car the card went flying first time I tried to remove it.:annoyed:

I've had a DR750S-2CH-Truck for a couple of years and it's been great. Had an issue with one of the cameras recording a green screen but a reboot fixed that. You should check the recorded videos every once in a while to make sure its all working ok. You can view and download them through your phone with the wifi mode and not deal with the SD card for one or two videos. Also got mine from the Dashcam Store.

I'm trying to get away from using my phone for the dashcam. Seems as though I'm a minority. :hattip:

Did you get the external battery as well. I am thinking of this system almost purely for parking mode to give me a warning if catalytic converter crooks show up. I was wondering where the battery would go. Also is the rear camera mount easy to install?

I agree - I ordered a Tmobile SIM card and I will hook up my LTE adapter asap. Im also tryng to figure out how to make the videos longer than 1 minute....I may have picked the wrong setting somewhere

i did not get the external battery....Im still trying to figure out how I want to do the power for parking mode. I am leaning towards hooking up to my SPOD and using the switch to turn it on and off
