I was hoping you guys could help me out on this. I'm looking at getting rid of the chrome and silver inside my tundra. I was originally going to install the phoenix audio tesla screen in matte black. I have the AJT pieces for the other parts and was gonna wrap the 2 silver pieces on the side of the radio matte black.

Unfortunately I canceled the phoenix due to taking forever to even process it. I'm deciding to go with Alpine F511. Question i had is do they make the piece under the radio in black? The pics with the ac controls. I have a 19 Limited and it's a brushed silver. I think that will stick out if everything else is black and cement.

I think he’s looking for the separate climate control bezel. I’ve never seen it in black.

You'd probably have to paint it yourself. Super easy to remove. Just may have to tape off the buttons and knobs.
I've been thinking about that piece too for when I eventually upgrade my stereo. For now it's fine because it matches my stock stereo.
I painted my trim pieces myself so I'll try to match that piece to the rest although I do like the brushed metal look. Just wish it was darker. Maybe a light coat of the lens tint paint :monocle:
Be curious to see how that would come out.

The issue is that all of those markings have lighting that comes through them.

Yeah that's why I was hoping they make a piece. I'm not no where near skilled enough or patient enough to paint that.

Is your radio surround an overlay or are those painted?

IMG_0355.jpg Pretty sure those are pad printed. I managed to paint my radio volume button on the steering wheel black with some fancy masking and a razor blade.

How did you do it? Looks so sharp. Wished someone came out with a black button. How is that button removed?

I simply put clear masking tape over the button and very carefully using a razor blade, cut the tape around the plus, minus and the speaker. I removed all the tape then EXCEPT the tape on those symbols. I sprayed the button with SEM print and then removed the clear tape from the symbols.
